Setting up your Digital Sign
What you need to start:
- Amazon FireTV Stick
- Your WiFi Info
- Your Amazon login info
- Your Captive Audience login info

Step 1: Install FireTV Stick
1. Remove FireTV Stick, power plug and cable, and remote from box
2. Plug FireTV Stick into an HDMI input on your display
Ensure the display is set to this input.
3. Plug FireTV Stick into power
Do not plug USB power cable into your TV or monitor’s USB plug. Use the wall power plug included with the FireTV Stick.
4. Put batteries into remote
Step 2: Set up FireTV Stick
1. Select Language
2. Join your WiFi Network
3. Login with your Amazon account
If you do not have an amazon account, select “Create an Account”.
4. Follow Device set up steps
There are a few housekeeping items Amazon takes you through. You can answer the questions at your discretion, and skip the video using the faast forward button on your remote if you would like.
You will be finished once you see the home screen.
Step 3: Download Captive Audience App
1. Go to Search tab
While you are on the home screen, press left once on your remote to highlight the magnifying glass in the top left of your screen.
2. Search for Captive Audience
3. Download the Captive Audience App
Select the Captive Audience App from the list that appears:
With the download icon highlighted yellow, download the app:
Step 4: Login to Captive Audience App
1. Launch the Captive Audience App
There are 2 ways to do this:
1: Launch right after downloading. The “Get” icon will change to an “Open” icon:
2: Go back to the Home screen, and select it from your available apps:
2. Login to the Captive Audience app
3. Wait for app to download slides
This could take some time depending on your internet speed. Go grab a snack.
4. Press "Start Slides"
Your digital sign production will begin playing:
