Save New Programs onto a USB Drive

1: Plug the USB drive into your PC's USB port

Remove the USB Flash Drive from the repeater

Insert the USB Flash Drive into an open USB port on your computer

Your PC may present you with this dialog:

Select Open folder to view files Be sure to note the letter assigned to the USB drive.

NOTE: In this tutorial the USB drive is E:, but depending on how many devices you have hooked up to your PC, it may appear as F:, G:, or higher.

2: Delete ALL old files from the USB drive

After selecting Open folder to view files you will see this:

NOTE: You may or may not see files labeled ".Trashes", ".DS_Store", etc. Don't worry about those files; they're junk and you're going to delete them.

Select ALL the files on the USB Flash drive.

Click on Delete the selected items on the left side of the window. Alternately you can simply press the DEL key on your keyboard.

You will be presented with a dialog asking if you want to delete the selected files:

Click Yes.

The Flash drive is now ready for your new production.

3: Save the audio file to the USB drive

Open My Documents and locate the file you downloaded from our website.

Select the file.

Click Copy this file on the left side of the window:

You will see a dialog like this:

Select the E: drive (or F:, G:, or higher ) click Copy.

4: Replace the USB drive in the digital repeater

Remove the USB Flash Drive from your PC, press the Reset button on the USB1100, then insert the USB Flash Drive into the USB1100 digital repeater.

Before you insert the Flash drive into the USB1100, be sure to press the Reset button on the digital repeater:

This will clear any internal memory and force the repeater to load the new program from the Flash drive.
